Event Details

Celebrate the 60th anniversary of the right to asylum, as set out by the UN convention, with Refugee Survival Trust at The Melting Pot.

Refugee Week is a unique opportunity to discover and celebrate the contributions refugees bring Scotland.  This informal event will give you the opportunity to hear from representatives of Scottish refugee organisations, meet our trustees, volunteers, staff and supporters.

You don’t have to be involved with Refugee work to come along and there will be a diverse group of attendees for you to network with over a lovely glass of wine and some nibbles.

Speakers include:

·         Eileen Baxendale, Chair, Refugee Survival Trust

·         John Wilkes, Chief Executive, Scottish Refugee Council

·         Carlos Arrendondo, Chilean Singer, Songwriter and Poet.
